Our Organic Vineyard - Las Lagunillas-

The vineyard is located between La Seca and Medina del Campo, at 742 meters above sea level. The soil is composed of half sand and half clay, mixed with pebbles. This combination of soils is ideal to produce our wine, since the sand and clay mix to produce a complex and well-balanced wine.

Our vineyards are cared for by ourselves, and one of the tasks that stands out in the area is the vegetation cover. We use it as fertilizer, since when this pea cover begins to compete with the vineyard, we turn it over, leaving a large contribution of nitrogen in our soil. This process allows us to maintain the health of our vineyards in a natural and sustainable way, creating high-quality wines that reflect the care and attention we devote to our land. Vegetation cover is a fundamental part of our approach to organic farming, and we are proud of the results we have achieved thanks to this practice.

Our organic vineyard -Valdelagúndez-

The vineyard was planted by our past generations, it is a very sentimental vineyard. The poor, sandy soil, with a surface layer of pebbles, is beneficial to the wine in several ways. The poor soil forces the roots of the vines to seek deeper nutrients, resulting in wines with more character and complexity. The presence of pebbles in the surface layer helps drain rainwater, avoiding excess moisture that can damage the roots of the vines. In addition, poor, sandy soil tends to produce lower-yielding, but higher-quality grapes, resulting in more concentrated wines with more intense flavours.

Visítanos

The vineyard located at 762m altitude stands out for its planting in a royal frame, following the ancient tradition. The advantages of having an organic, chemical-free vineyard are numerous. On the one hand, biodiversity is promoted and the soil is protected from erosion. In addition, water and air pollution are avoided, contributing to a healthier environment for nature. Wines produced from grapes grown in this way also convey the purity and authenticity of their origin, which is reflected in their unique taste and aroma. In short, choosing an organic and chemical-free vineyard not only benefits the environment, but also results in high-quality, nature-friendly wines.
